Hi podcastjunkie,
So glad you've enjoyed our "funky food" segment! Never fear, we usually avoid our funky food selections; we just like to talk about them! ;)
Also, glad to hear that your joy girth has expanded because of our show!

Well, we can safely say that the RF candle is lit. Enjoyed as ever. Thanks for sharing that saying, the simple ones are often the most powerful. Joanna & Laurie, it seems like the weather down there is like living in a cartoon, what with actually being able to see the cold front arriving. That's spectacular. Yay for the cold front! They're my favourite too. As for the texan summer, being underneath a damp blanket in an oven sounds tempting, but I think I'll take your advice & visit in more sensible temperatures!
I need to listen to Yusuf again, have'nt really had time to get into the new songs, but what I've heard is quite soothing & as you pointed out, the lyrics are simple & positive, which is a breath of fresh air.
Anyway, it is now my mission in life to say "ROTFLMAO"
with a mouth full of scorpions.

Hi Anthony,
Thanks so much! Your comments always make me smile! The weather here can be extreme, and I can see how our descriptions could be drawn as a cartoon. Usually, though, it's rather boring: the summer months seem to last all year long. The poor weather man gets so bored!
Wrapped in wet woolen blanket and stuck in the oven sounds tempting?
Maybe we should trade places next summer! Glad to hear that you'll be visiting Texas in more moderate weather months, it can be very nice here from November to April.

You'll be able to get lots of scorpions in Texas to help you accomplish your new mission in life; but, you must be very careful to remove the stingers before inserting in mouth.
BTW, I give lessons in speaking "ROTFLMAO" and other internet lingo for my favorite podcasters from France. ;)

Love,
Laurie
