Funky Food
To continue our "Sweet & Salty" theme, we wonder "why?"... anyone... would create a dish such as the Tuna Delight Salad Mold. To ameliorate the horror of jello + tuna, we offer a nice "Sweet & Salty" treat:
Royce’s Chocolate-Covered Potato Chips.
To celebrate Valentine's Day, we laugh about: Wooing at WhiteCastle.

Avast! Late with my feedback-unfortunately been having major tech problems of my own. Long story short, I may just do a Jean Lafitte on the folks at podomatic & make them walk the plank.)
Lafitte is certainly an interesting character & I find it very cool that you live in an area that was witness to such real life "Long John Silvers".
Personally, I think "talk like a pirate day" should be mandatory all the time for us "land lubbers" aswell as reading poems by Lord Byron (indeed, that is a long one! Beautifully read.
I agree about Pirates of the carribean, take away the music & Johnny Depp- & you're left with a documentary about ropes & wet wood.
God bless Sparky wherever he may be- perhaps somewhere sipping tea & smoking a pipe in a silk dressing gown. He definitely left an impression.
I was'nt too sure about those chocolate potato chips at first, but the idea is growing on me. When well prepared, sweet & salty is definitely nice.

Hey AfP,
Great comments, made us smile and chuckle, which is always Niiice!
Sorry to hear you are having troubles with your podomatic, that sucks!
Your compliments on the reading of Lord Byrons "Corsair" are appreciated and you inspire me to do more of the same in other shows!
Thank you, Ant, you're the best :)
I like the idea of Sparky dressed for a nice relaxing evening, that sounds a lot like him. Yup, Sparky is legendary, and leaves a big impression in our hearts.
Thanks for enjoying our show and for letting us know you did!

Ant: Ahoy, matey!
Plank-walking is in order for all tech problems, I think! Too bad they're incorporeal and can't be sent to Davy Jones's Locker! *laughs*
I believe I'll slowly incorporate pirate lingo into my vocabulary, so don't be surprised if you hear me mutter "Aye aye, Captain!" or "Arrgh!" under my breath in future shows. *grin*
"Pirates of the Caribbean: Ropes & Wet Wood"... LOL, I can just imagine it! Would be riveting, I'm sure. Heh heh.
Sparky did, indeed, leave an indelible impression on our hearts! He was the perfect dog friend for my brothers and me when we were growing up. Sipping tea and smoking pipe sounds like something he would definitely enjoy. *smile*
BTW, When I first heard about the chocolate-covered potato chips, I thought they sounded rather funky. I love the combination of sweet & salty, though, so I think they'd be worth a try!
Thanks for the comments, Ant! I hope your tech problems are resolved very soon. If not, let me know and I'll help you maroon Podomatic on a deserted island! ;)
