A First Time for Everything
Join my mom, Laurie, and I as we have a culinary adventure while preparing our version of moussaka.

Various moussaka recipes:
Authentic Greek and Turkish moussaka
Classic Greek Moussaka
Food Network's Moussaka

"Yo, Lord, we greet Thee!"
Not only can Josh Groban sing, he's very funny, I relate as I talk about a scene from his "Making of 'Noel'" DVD. I also report the news that Josh will present live on the American Music Awards November 18th on ABC.

Music News
Three musicians whose music has been featured on Random Fandom have exciting news to share, which I pass along:

Will Deynes, whose song, "Super Wonderful," was played on RF Show 34, is in the CW11 and Pepsi "Battle of the Bands" contest. If you like the song, please vote for him!

Alex Giordani, whose song, "It's Coming Out Love," was played on RF Show 11, is one of the Intel SuperGroup finalists. Voting is over, however, and results from the contest should be released soon.

Eoghan Colgan, whose songs, "Sunny Days" and "That First Time," were played on RF Show 12 and RF Show 35 respectively, will put on a showcase on November 28th in London to show record companies what he and his band sound like live. Everyone is welcome to attend!

Make Some Noise for the Boys!
I give a reminder that Paolo Nutini will appear on the "Austin City Limits" TV show on November 17th, as well as mention his football fandom.

"Football" or "Soccer"?
As usual, we randomly chat about many subjects, including the invention of American football and the invention of basketball. (It was actually invented by a Canadian living in the U.S.!) We also laugh about CNN's venture into the virtual world of Second Life.

Music Credits
"Me Llaman Calle," by Manu Chao (Thanks to IODA PromoNet)

I think the pastor will be safe & you're not trying to poison him!-The recipe sounded pretty damn good at this end.
Lookforward to your verdict.

Yay for moussaka and Manu Chao! Thanks to you, Ant, I know about them. :) Both are excellent!

OMG, I hope we don't poison anyone! We didn't die after eating our "trial run," so I think all will be fine. *wink*
