Word Nerd Alert
I talk about some of the new words recently added to Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, focusing especially on "mondegreen." After sharing a mondegreen of my own, I mention that there is at least one site full of humorous examples of mondegreens.

Concert Time!
I'm happy to say I'll be attending a Sheryl Crow/James Blunt concert next month in Houston.

Paolo "Kidnapped" by The View
I have a giggle over a news article that says The View kidnapped Paolo Nutini and forced him to sing on a track for their upcoming album. The song will, hopefully, tide me over until Paolo's new album is released.

"Garrison Keillor's Evil Twin"
Although I've not yet read David Sedaris' new book, "When You Are Engulfed in Flames," I recommend checking it out since I've enjoyed his past works. Click here for an interview with David and an excerpt from the book.

Ben Sollee's cover of Sam Cook's "A Change is Gonna Come" inspired me to revive the Song of the Moment/Week segment.
