Early Christmas Thanks to Josh Groban!
Josh Groban's "Noel" is magnificent! I talk about my enjoyment of the album and explain a bit about why I like it so much. I'm also excited to share news about an "'Awake' Live" CD/DVD combo, which is due for release in early 2008.

Josh will perform songs from "Noel" during several TV appearances in November.

He's America!
I'm remorseful about not mentioning the release of Stephen Colbert's book, "I Am America (And So Can You)," last week. Even though I've not had the chance to read it, I'm sure it's the best book ever written!

Check out this excellent rare out-of-character interview in which Colbert talks about his appearance on the season premiere of "The Simpsons."

Ya'll Ready for This?!
The upcoming start of the NBA season has me thrilled that my favorite team, the San Antonio Spurs, will soon be in action once again!

Very Important Things
I report on some cool news about Demetri Martin's pilot for Comedy Central: Executive produced by Jon Stewart, it's called "Important Things With Demetri Martin" and is slated for airing in 2008.

Music Credits
"Call Me Beautiful," by 3 Blind Mice
"La Plaga," by Hilda Lamas

Random Fandom Remixed!
I play an awesome and hilarious Random Fandom remix created by Anthony from Paris. (Thanks so much, Ant! You rock!)

Josh Groban's "With You" and "Noel"
I share my excitement about obtaining two new songs by Josh Groban: "With You" and "My Heart Was Home Again" from a special Hallmark compilation CD titled "With You." I also rave about Josh's first ever Christmas album, "Noel," in anticipation of the album's release on October 9.

It's All About the Music!
Throughout the show, I highlight five "podsafe" songs by artists and musicians whose music I greatly enjoy:
"It Was Meant to Be," by Clayton
"Never Meant," by Adrina Thorpe
"Die Alone," by Ingrid Michaelson
"None of Those Things," by Cat Jahnke
"A Girl Should Never Eat Alone," by Clayton

Paolo Nutini, Who Else?
I talk about Paolo Nutini's special festival edition of "These Streets" and mention his upcoming appearance on Austin City Limits on November 17.

Romantica's "America"
As promised, I share my thoughts about "America," by the Minneapolis-based Romantica.

Shine On
I mention two James Blunt concerts that are available for viewing via streaming: Live in London and New York City.
