Back at It
After a month-long absence from RF, I'm back with a new show recorded with my newest toy/tool, the Victor Reader Stream. As usual, I touch upon music and sports, as well as briefly mention the imminent U.S. Presidential election. I'm sure I don't need to say this, but I will anyway: If you've not already voted, vote on Tuesday!
The Month in Music
I've acquired some fantastic albums within the past month, including:
Sporting News in Brief
Two short track speedskating World Cup competitions were held in October, the first in Kearns (a suburb of Salt Lake City), Utah, the second in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Apolo Anton Ohno led the U.S. men's short track team to a gold medal in the relay in Kearns and a silver medal in the relay in Vancouver, as well as earning an individual bronze medal in the 1,500-meter race in Kearns. For much more detailed coverage of the World Cups and upcoming competitions, visit The OhnoZone.
The San Antonio Spurs played their first game of the 2008/2009 NBA season on October 29, losing to the Phoenix Suns, 103 to 98. For more Spurs news than I can ever hope to provide, visit Project Spurs.
Music Credits
