Uhm...Josh Groban!
Many thanks to Anthony for the hilarious RF remix! It amused my mom, Laurie, and I so much that we had to share.

It's Ironic, She Says
Laurie shares her latest adventures in the social media sphere, including creating a blog, Hot Flash News, joining Twitter, as well as creating a My AllTop page. I recommend checking out my blog, eclectica, for updates on what I've been up to.

New Music, Yay!
In music news, I report that Paolo Nutini's new album will be titled "Sunny Side Up" and talk about the release of Joe Purdy's "Last Clock on the Wall." In the obligatory (just kidding!) Josh Groban mention, I talk about the song Josh recently recorded with Placido Domingo, "La Tua Simplicita."

Taking the Show on the Road
I announce my plans to move to Austin and explain why I'll be taking an extended hiatus from the podcast.

Obama Fest!
This week, my mom, Laurie, and I talk about the festivities surrounding Barack Obama's Presidential Inauguration, including the "We Are One" concert and the Inaugural balls. Laurie appreciates Aretha Franklin's hat, as do many others. I highlight Josh Groban and Heather Headley's rendition of "My Country 'Tis of Thee." We also mention President Obama's new and highly secure Blackberry and talk a bit about my new smart phone, too.

Green Corporations
Laurie highlights the efforts of many companies to be environmentally friendly. She recommends the following links:
Corporate Social Responsibility, Creating New Corporations, Sustainable Life Media, Wildlife Friendly, Sustainable Seminars, and We Are Boost.
