Election '08, Texas Style
I describe Texas' odd electoral system for selecting delegates to represent each Presidential candidate and talk about the results from Tuesday's "Texas Two-Step." Although the voting process can be exciting and very interesting, I'm beginning to note a bit of political fatigue and am glad there will be breaks between the next state primaries and caucuses.

For those interested in the delegate selection process, check out "Road to Denver," a new podcast by Shelly. She is attempting to be selected as a delegate for Barack Obama to the Democratic National Convention later this year and will chronicle her attempt on the podcast.

New Music from Joshua Radin
Joshua Radin has released a four-song EP titled "Unclear Sky" exclusively on iTunes, I report. It includes a duet with the amazing Ingrid Michaelson, which I'm dying to hear.

Oh, to be in Austin!
I lament the fact that I can't make it to the SXSW Music Festival. Joshua Radin, Ingrid Michaelson, Romantica and many more wonderful musical artists and bands will perform at the festival this year.

Short Track World Championships
Apolo Ohno will skate in the Short Track Speedskating World Championships this weekend in South Korea. To follow his progress through the competition, visit The Ohno Zone.

Music Credits
"Viva Obama," by Amigos de Obama
"Spin," by Codi Prevost
"Texas," by Stewart & Winfield

Spur of the Moment Surprise
I talk about attending the Rich O'Toole show at the Executive Surf Club on a whim. I've since discovered that Rich is an up-and-comer in the Texas music scene, so definitely check him out if you're into good ol' country rock 'n' roll!

New Music: Romantica's "America"
Many thanks to Romantica's Tony Zaccardi for letting me know that the ban's album, "America," is available in CD format from their website! (The album may also be purchased in digital format from their site. As soon as I learned of the availability of the CD, I bought it. I'll report back with my thoughts on the album, which I have a feeling I'll adore.

What's on My MP3 Player?
To give you an idea of some of the music I listen to, I put my MP3 player on shuffle mode and talk about what's playing.
